Czech designer Rony Plesl has transmuted the form of the original frame and arms into an entirely new, strong, and decisive light piece. Mercury retains the perfect design intent of its predecessor – to use its surfaces to reflect light – but uses new laser cutting technology to achieve this result, and has added retract and extend capabilities. The striking form of the frame is smooth and highly polished, leading to an industrial look, whilst maintaining sophistication and charm.
